California Consumer Privacy Act Policy, for California Residents
This California Consumer Privacy Act Policy ("CCPA Privacy Policy") is part of and incorporated into, the MMR Digital LLC Privacy Policy, for the sportsYou Service, (the "Privacy Policy") which can be found here: sportsYou Privacy Policy. Any terms used but not defined in this CCPA Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 or the regulations promulgated under the CCPA (together, the "CCPA") or our Privacy Policy. This CCPA Privacy Policy was last updated on September 22, 2020.
This CCPA Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information of California residents to the extent the information is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA). For the avoidance of doubt, if provisions of this CCPA Privacy Policy and the Privacy Policy conflict, this CCPA Privacy Policy will control.
Categories of Personal Information collected, disclosed or sold
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household ("Personal Information"). We collected the following categories of Personal Information from and about Consumers within the last twelve (12) months:
- Identifiers. We collect identifiers such as your first name, last name, email address, home address, home address, team, school or organization, and demographic information, such as information about your gender, age and educational level.
- Inferences drawn from other Personal Information. We collect certain inferences drawn from other Personal Information, such as contextual information when you or your child are tagged in a photo that is shared with us, which may also link to your profile and the associated event and include other information such as the place and date of the photo. We may also employ certain Recognition, Targeting, and Tracking Technologies, which attempt to make assumptions about Users and their devices in order to provide content to Users that are relevant to their interests. This also includes certain sports performance information about your athletic performance relating to a team, practice, game, stats, or that you were referenced in a blog or news site.
- Sensory Information. We collect audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, such as the information you upload to the Service in the form of photos, data, audio files, videos, graphics, or other user generated content.
- Information of users under the age of 13. We do not collect any Personal Information from Users under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected Personal Information from a User under the age of 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a User under the age of 13 may have provided us Personal Information in violation of this Privacy Policy, please contact us at privacy@sportsyou.com.
- Usage Information. We collect technical information from you and from your devices when you use our Service, including information such as your IP address, UDID, or other unique device identifiers such as your browser, operating system, hardware information, mobile network information, the URL that referred you to our Service, the ways and times you visit or use our Service, and other device characteristics. This information may also include various types of Tracking Technologies that are explained in more detail in the Privacy Policy. It also includes information that we may collect when you register or connect to our Service through a social media website, we collect information associated with your social media profile that is provided through the social media website's Application Programming Interface (which does not include your password).
- Geolocation information. Depending on your use of our Service, we may collect your device's location if permitted by you or your device.
Who we collect information from: what are the categories of sources of the Personal Information we collect?
We do not collect any personal information from you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. When you sign up to become a user of the Website or Services (a "User"), you will be asked to provide us with certain personal information, such as (a) your first name, last name, email address, home address, team, school or organization and (b) demographic information, such as information about your gender, age and educational level ("Demographic Information") . In this Privacy Policy, we refer to this type of information as "Personal Information." We may collect this information through various forms and in various places on the Service, from the teams, leagues, schools and other organizations with which you or your child are associated, and from registration forms, lists provided by administrators of Official Pages, "contact us" forms, e-mail subscription lists, blog comments, forums or when you otherwise interact with the Service. To the extent we combine Demographic Information with your Personal Information we collect directly from you on the Service, we will treat the combined data as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.
Please remember that when you or your child are tagged in a photo, the tag not only reveals that you or the child are in the photo, it also links to your profile and the event, and may have additional information concerning the place and date of the photo. This means anyone who has access to the photo can see who you or your child are and learn more about you or your child via the photo and your or your child's profile. While this can be fun, it also raises some privacy concerns.
Other than the online contact information required to obtain parental consent, we do not collect any Personal Information from Users under the age of 13 unless the User's parent or legal guardian has first provided us with consent for that User to use the Services and disclose Personal Information to us. If you are a User under the age of 13, please do not send any Personal Information to us if we have not obtained prior consent from your parent or guardian. If we learn we have collected Personal Information from a User under the age of 13 without parental or guardian consent, or if we learn a User under the age of 13 has provided to us Personal Information beyond what we request from him or her, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a User under the age of 13 may have provided us Personal Information in violation of this Privacy Policy, please contact us at privacy@sportsyou.com.
- Authentication partners. If you sign in by using a third party service, such as through your Google account, we collect information available through that third party's Application Programming Interface, which may include Identifiers, Sensory, and Usage information.
- Technical service providers. We work with third parties that provide us with certain technical data that in combination with device information can better enable us to provide you Services.
- Payment partners. Our third party payment partners provide us with information about you to enable us to process your payments.
- Advertising partners. We may obtain certain data about you, such as cookies, mobile device identifications, or email addresses, and inferences about your interests and preferences from our advertising partners.
- Peers, teammates, leagues, coaches, schools, colleagues and others who use our Service. We receive information about you when other Users posted such information on our Service, such as your attendance or performance at a sporting event.
- News media. We collect information about you from publicly available news sources.

Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose to your Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, or sell about you over the prior 12 months, and ask that we provide you with the following information:

- Purposes for collecting Personal Information.

- Right to Request Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information, subject to exceptions set forth by the law (such as, including but not limited to, where the information is used to identify and repair errors on this Service, to detect security incidents and protect against fraudulent or illegal activities, to exercise certain rights etc.). If no legal exception applies, as a result of exercising your right, we will delete your Personal Information and direct any of our service providers to do so.

- Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to Opt-Out of the sale of your Personal Information. However, as indicated in this CCPA Privacy Policy, we do not sell your Personal Information.
How to contact us and how to exercise your rights
To exercise the rights described above, you need to submit your verifiable consumer request to us by e-mailing us at privacy@sportsyou.com. For us to respond to your request, it's necessary that we know who you are. Therefore, you can only exercise the above rights by making a verifiable consumer request (personally or through an authorized representative) which must:
- provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information; and
- describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We will not respond to any request if we are unable to verify your identity and therefore confirm the Personal Information in our possession actually relates to you.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You can authorize an agent, in writing or through a power of attorney, to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. We will require the agent provide proof that you have authorized it to act on your behalf and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.
We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.
You can submit a maximum number of 2 requests under the Right to Know, over a period of 12 months.
How and when we are expected to handle your request
We will confirm receipt of your verifiable request within 10 days and provide information about how we will process your request.
We will respond to your request within 45 days of its receipt. Should we need more time, we will explain to you the reasons why, and how much more time we need. In this regard, please note that we may take up to 90 days to fulfill your request.
Our response will cover the preceding 12 month period.
Should we deny your request, we will explain you the reasons behind our denial.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable request unless such request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In such cases, we may charge a reasonable fee, or refuse to act on the request. In either case, we will communicate our choices and explain the reasons behind it.
